Jessie Harrell
Jessie Harrell, a Nashville based choreographer and dancer, has been well-versed in multiple styles since the age of 10. She began training at Studio 413 in Memphis, TN where she met her mentor, Rudi Peyton. At the age of 15, she began assisting him with classes and auditions, such as the NBA Memphis Grizzlies Dance Team and intensives at New Ballet Ensemble. At 18, she moved to the Nashville area and joined MPAC at MTSU where her choreography journey began. While in Nashville, she was mentored by Aryes Cox who guided her to perform in live shows, dance back-up for artists, travel, and join a crew by the name of Krazi Technique. By 20 years old, Jessie was dancing on an overseas 9-month tour through China where she danced and choreographed for multiple Chinese artists. Returning to the United States, Jessie now teaches at multiple studios, choreographs for competition teams, and continues to travel, doing what she loves.
I’m extremely excited to get to work with the dancers at Platinum this year! This will be my first year on staff and I look forward to the special one on one teaching time I will get with the dancers. Hopefully, I can bring something different and special into their dance training this year.
