Katie Johnson

I have been a competitive dancer for 16 years in which I won many scholarships, awards and national titles. I graduated from Wilson Central high School where I was a member of the dance team for 4 years. I was also a competitive gymnast for 4 years where I really excelled in tumbling. After high school, I continued to dance competitive for two years. I have had the opportunity to be in Kristian Bush’s music video “Trailer Hitch”, danced with a group called “Southern Trace Girls” and auditioned for SYTYCD. I have known since a young age, that I wanted to share my passion with other people and I’m excited about my 6th year to be teaching at Platinum.
