Welcome to Platinum Dance Studio!

Platinum Dance Studio is located in Lebanon, TN, convenient for families in the Lebanon, Mt Juliet, Hermitage and Gallatin areas. We have a 4,000+sq ft facility that features 4 dance studios, spacious lobby and free Wi-Fi.

The studio is owned and operated by LaTonya Chastain and Stephanie Janse van Rensburg. With over 30 years of combined dance experience, this dynamic duo confidently stands behind their mission statement. “Platinum will provide an atmosphere that fosters both the child and dancer. We offer classes that give students the opportunity to learn and master the art of dance. By integrating dance into their lives, we hope to give each student a renewed sense of dedication, ambition, character, and a chance to express themselves. This renewed sense of self will give each child the confidence to master all of their dreams”. We strive to keep a positive atmosphere making sure that EVERY dancer that walks through our doors knows that we truly care and want nothing but the best for them.

We know that choosing the right studio for your child is a tough decision. We offer multiple programs to meet the various needs of our community and surrounding cities.

RECREATION – Open to all levels of dancers ages 18 months – 18 yrs old. Classes are available in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Creative Movement, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Musical Theater. With the exception of tumbling, all classes will participate in an end of the year performance recital in June. There are additional fees for the recital, see the Recreational Program tab for more detailed information. Registration is open mid May and we will continue taking dancers through December.

LIMITED TRAVEL TEAM – This team is open to dancers 3-18 yrs old that are wanting to transition from Recreational Classes to the competition world. Weekly required classes include Ballet, Technique, Tumbling and Choreography. This team rehearses once a week and competes in 3 local regional competitions and will perform in the team showcase and end of year recital. Registration is open mid March and evaluations are in July.

COMPETITIVE TEAM – This team is open to dancers 5-18 yrs old that are wanting to take their dance skills to the next level. Weekly required classes include Ballet, Technique, Tumbling and Choreography. This team rehearses 2-3 days and competes in 5 regional competitions, 1 national competition as well as the team showcase and end of year recital. Registration is open mid March and auditions are in July.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM – This program is a service provided for parents in need of care for their children after school. We pick up from local pre-K and Elementary schools and provide a fun and safe environment for all! This program is also available during LSSD/Wilson County holidays and Fall/Spring Breaks. Registration is open year round.

SUMMER RECREATIONAL DANCE CLASSES (JULY) – We offer one month of summer dance classes in July! This is the perfect time for families to see what PDS is about as well as for dancers to try out new styles of dance! Combination classes are available (2 yrs old and 7+ yrs old) to give dancers a chance to experience 2 styles in a 30 minute time frame. Super combo classes are available to give dancers (3-6 yrs old) a chance to experience 3 styles in a 45 minute time frame. Registration begins in mid March!
